Cyprus Invites Indonesian Startups

Cyprus is welcoming Indonesian startups looking to grow beyond Southeast Asia. As an EU member state, Cyprus offers a strategic gateway to the European Single Market, supported by a business-friendly environment, a growing innovation ecosystem, and access to research, investment, and collaboration opportunities.

For startups in sectors such as AI, fintech, cybersecurity, digital services, and software development, Cyprus provides an ideal base to establish a European presence while building partnerships with investors, research institutions, and businesses across the region.

With the Indonesia–EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA) expected to take effect following ratification, Indonesian businesses will be well positioned to strengthen their presence in Europe. Establishing a foothold in Cyprus today can provide a strategic advantage for startups preparing to seize new opportunities as trade and economic ties between Indonesia and the EU continue to deepen.

Watch the second part our exclusive interview with Demetris Skourides to discover how Cyprus can serve as your gateway to the European market.
