(The Manager’s Lounge – Sales & Marketing) – Business idea can come from practically, anywhere. It\u2019s around you.\u00a0 It\u2019s like an air. You can breath on it. And the funny thing is, its recyclable. How so ? So, I’m browsing on the latest fashion trends on the Internet.<\/p>\n

And guess what i found ? Framed glasses and old British style came back to life, lots of fashion style that you saw on that 70\u2019s show are on the hot market these days. You know how teenager used to smirk on their parents and comments about how old-fashioned they were ? Guess who\u2019s laughing now…<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, let me tell you a little about \u201ctrend recycle\u201d. It doesn’t have anything to do with the basic principles of economy.\u00a0 I\u2019ve told you all before how you can package anything in Louis Vuitton package and called it authentic. Well, this is it ! But make no mistake, it\u2019s not an easy effort, mind you.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

In order to recycle a trend, you had to \u201cimplant\u201d an image of how marvelous and cool it was your object is. Is it easier than promoting a brand new product ? Well, it depends.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

One of the advantages are, the merchandise is already there.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

You just had to tweak it a little bit here and there in order for the merchandise to adapt in today\u2019s world. But the merchandise itself is already there. You dont need to hire a lot of people to create a new idea. It saves money. But then again, comes the difficult part.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

The difficult part lies with the implementation. It doesn\u2019t come all of sudden. When Robert Downey Jr wears a fedora and framed glasses in some of his picture, suddenly, a lot of fans try to imitate Downey\u2019s style.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

The demand for this \u201cantique\u201d merchandise increase. Believe me when I said some of my friend raid their parent\u2019s old stuff to find such thing. Then, bam ! The industry sensed this and used it to their advantage. And all of sudden, a lot of model walk in a catwalk wearing what looks like our grandmother\u2019s white cardigan with some tweaks here and there, and we bought it for more than a 100 dollar ! You can see, when the industry sense something, they\u2019re gonna exploit it.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Well, as a businessman, we had to keep our eyes out for such thing. A little sign of change in our society means a thousand road of business idea. It doesn\u2019t always had to be new. Sometimes, you just had to follow the current. Sometimes people doesn\u2019t want a new things, well then so what ? Just follow where the money is.<\/div>\n

So that\u2019s my article this week about trend recycle. You already had the resources. You already had the merchandise.<\/div>\n

What you had to do is to wait for a good time to release it. So keep an eye for every opportunity.<\/div>\n
