(Business Lounge Journal – Fine Culinary) Wow! Ini mungkin pertama kalinya saya merasa sangat bangga daerah universitas saya! Pernah Berkunjung di Binus selama 4 tahun dan tidak pernah menemukan tempat yang menarik dan tepat seperti ini. Sebenarnya ada beberapa, tidak pernah secantik dan sebesar ini, jadi saya bangga mempersembahkan The Cortado !!\n<\/div>\n

Saya pribadi berpikir bahwa The Cortado benar-benar memenuhi syarat sebagai tempat yang sempurna untuk mahasiswa, terutama mereka yang tinggal di asrama! Mereka menyediakan wi-fi dan tempat ini super nyaman untuk hanya nongkrong atau melakukan beberapa tugas, ditambah mereka buka ‘sampai tengah malam! Bagus, ya? Meskipun saya kira tidak ada yang sempurna, karena tempat ini memang memiliki titik minus, yaitu ruang parkir. Bagi siswa Binus kita dapat dengan mudah hanya parkir di Binus Syahdan, karena itu cukup dekat tapi bagaimana mereka yang bukan mahasiswa? Hmm..well, mungkin mereka target pasar benar-benar siswa Binus!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ini sebelumnya digunakan untuk menjadi warnet, itulah sebabnya memiliki 3 lantai. Lantai pertama hanya memiliki tangga ke lantai dua, di mana The Cortado berlokasi dan lantai ketiga adalah tempat gym. Saya memiliki keraguan ketika saya melihat penampilan luarnya, saya bahkan tidak yakin apakah ini adalah tempatnya jika tidak melihat bunga ucapan selamat besar di depannya. Itu semua berubah saat memasuki tempat ini, karena saya benar-benar kagum setelah itu! Ruang yang besar untuk sebuah kafe di daerah Binus!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Desain yang tidak biasa, hanya dinding semen sederhana, agak seperti Crematology tapi saya pasti bisa mengabaikamnya. Mereka juga memiliki ruang merokok di sini dan jangan khawatir, ruang ber-AC juga!\n<\/div>\n

It’s really too bad that this comfy place’s scenery outside is the heavy traffic jams of Binus and those crazy cables! \ud83d\ude41\n<\/div>\n

Their specialties are milk coffee and tea. Since they’ve just opened, each purchase of 1 food (it could be anything; appetizer, main course, dessert), you’ll get a free cold double ristretto latte and tea!<\/div>\n

NUTELLA OREO CHURROS<\/b> IDR 35K<\/i><\/p>\n
Starting with some appetizer, we went for this churros and not just any churros, nutella oreo churros! Can you imagine? Everyone’s favorite nutella and oreo..in one dish?! Super good and the churros also very crispy. Even though they put a lot of nutella and oreo, they managed to not dissolve the real churros taste!<\/div>\n

DOUBLE BURGER MELTED CHEESE<\/b> IDR 48K<\/i>
\nFor the main course, we chose this double burger. You can either have this with melted cheese, bbq, or hot and spicy. We, of course, went immediately with the melted cheese! This only cost IDR 48K, I guess it’s because they’re target market is people around Binus, where the most expensive dish cost only IDR 50K. The burger’s okay-ish, it’s not incredible but decent. All I can say is that the fries isn’t the crispy type and the patty’s a bit mushy but at least it doesn’t smell weird, so it’s all good!\n<\/p>\n

SUSHI BANANA<\/b> IDR 28K<\/i>
\nTheir recommended us this sushi banana, which we find super cute! It’s a sushi made out of banana..hmm, very creative! \ud83d\ude00 Even though it doesn’t look tempting, this it’s actually pretty good!\n<\/p>\n

On top of it is oreo crumbs and nuts for the coating, so it’s a bit crunchy, just like a crunchy roll..lol!<\/div>\n

Another pleasant surprise is the nutella below the oreo, so they uses nutella to stick the oreo crumbs, which is why it’s so good! It doesn’t lose the banana taste though, so if you don’t like bananas, it’s really too bad!<\/div>\n

A bit frustrated on why this place decide to open only after we graduated! If only we had places like this, while we were still going to Binus, we could’ve used this place as our assignment haven!! \ud83d\ude41 Well, no use regretting it now, right? Let’s move on with our lives! :p<\/div>\n
